The Stockman
Built for the cutting board.
The Stockman is a handcrafted chef knife designed to handle the everyday work of a kitchen, from breaking down meat to slicing vegetables and everything in between.
Each blade is made from 1084 high-carbon steel, heat treated and finished by hand. The sweeping blade profile provides plenty of cutting edge while the handcrafted walnut handle gives the knife a warm, traditional feel and comfortable grip.
This knife includes a custom-fitted Kydex blade guard, making it easy to safely store or transport.

Because every Needham knife is made by hand, slight variations and imperfections are part of each individual knife. No two are exactly alike.
Care: 1084 is a high-carbon steel and can develop a natural patina over time. Hand wash and dry immediately after use. Do not put in the dishwasher. A light coat of food-safe oil during storage will help protect the blade.

In-stock knives ship within about 3 business days by UPS Ground, which usually arrives in 1–3 business days. You'll get tracking by email.
Semi-custom and custom knives have a 4–6 week lead time before shipping.
Returns: every knife is a one-off, so all sales are final. If you ever have an issue with your knife, reach out and I'll make it right.
