Needham Knives started with a simple idea: make good knives by hand and make them to be used.
Every knife is made by me in Dripping Springs, Texas, one at a time. I work primarily with high-carbon steel and natural handle materials, with each knife shaped, ground, heat treated, finished, and assembled by hand.
Because of that process, no two knives are exactly alike. Small differences in the steel, wood, antler, and finish are part of what makes each one its own.
I make everything from everyday carry and hunting knives to kitchen knives and custom pieces. Some are built in small batches and listed as they're finished, while others are made specifically for the person who will own them.
Needham Knives isn't about making something overly fancy or too nice to use. The goal is simple: build a knife that looks good, feels right in your hand, and can be used for years.
